Despite the tumor-shrinking medical miracle that has bought her a few years, Hazel has never been anything but terminal, her final chapter inscribed upon diagnosis. But when a gorgeous plot twist named Augustus Waters suddenly appears at Cancer Kid Support Group, Hazel's story is about to be completely rewritten.

Insightful, bold, irreverent, and raw, The Fault in Our Stars is award-winning author John Green's most ambitious and heartbreaking work yet, brilliantly exploring the funny, thrilling, and tragic business of being alive and in love. (goodreads)

This is the first time I read Green's work. I found the story line is so simple. It's focus on two young couple, Hazel and Gus who suffered from cancer. Then as a reader we can predict how the story is going. Of course it talks about how Hazel and Gus fight against the aliens. They, especially Hazel, often attends to cancer support group that according to her mother can help her to make friend.

But don't underestimate it so soon. Yeah the sick teenagers are centered here. Yeah the story is just around their lives. Let me tell you what makes so special of this book. It is the way Green wrote it. He has magic hands to create words becomes pretty story to read. He creates couple characters that don't like act pitiful to get sympathy from readers.

Most readers shed tears after finished the book (whereas I don't :D). Most readers fell in love after read this book (then my feeling was so-so). But again I admit that TFIOS is written beautifully. :)
